I was going through the other versions of this tab and couldn't put my finger on why they all sounded
slightly off. It wasn't until I played the album without shuffle, and found that this song is supposed to
come right after Thunder and Lightning. I'll link both Lanterns and Thunder and Lightning + Lanterns down
below so you can hear what I'm talking about.
In terms of technical stuff you should note, Michael loves to do hammer-ons and pull-offs with just about
every chord. The main ones are:
F - hammer-on the 3rd sting onto the 2nd fret Am - hammer-on the 1st string onto the 3rd fret C- same as Am G - hammer-on 2nd string onto 1st fret
Michael does a little thing during the 2nd chorus where he walks down the melody after playing the G chord:
2nd string 1st fret
2nd string open
3rd string 2nd fret
3rd string open
The travis picking he uses is pretty standard, just watch a video on travis picking if you don't know what I
mean.
Lastly, if someone can tell me what the correct chord is for the piano chord at the beginning that would be
much appriciated.
