ZZ Top – Cheap Sunglasses (Guitar Tab)

Versions (3)

Auto-scroll

This song uses a dropped D on the 1st string. I learned this from Robert Baker's YouTube Channel. His lesson can be found here. All of this is evident if you watch Billy Gibbons on live recordings or have been lucky enough to see them in person. It's also evident if you listen to the song closely. The change to dropped first-D allows you to barre the first three strings to do the main signature riffs.

These two measure actually call for some weird bending
you might want to experiment with.
You are now back to the beginning themes. Play them for the 3rd verse and then the final solo comes in with LOTS of muted stuff. ************************************ | x Dead note | h Hammer-on | p Pull-off | b Bend | / Slide up | \ Slide down ************************************
