Chords

This is a breakdown of the acoustic version on "Welcome Back Colour." The full-band version is basically the same except the capo is on 4. Generally the verses are fingerpicked, and the choruses are strummed. Dadd4 is what I'm calling C chord slid up two frets. When she fingerpicks this, she doesn't hit the high e string until the very end.

 C G/B G Am Em
Welcome home, I'm amazed you came around

          Am Em Dadd4
You were lost now you've been found in your own dream

   C G/B G Am Em
A rebel girl who ran off to join a band

           Am Em C G

From her own team
[Chorus]
          C G C G
Could it be that I know nothing about holding on to love

 C G/B G Am Em
Welcome back, I'm surprised you look the same

          Am Em Dadd4
So much turbulence and change at your door

   C G/B G Am Em
A wary girl no intention to steer clear

           Am Em

That all the good ones disappeared

         C G Dadd4
Leaving only an idea of what good is good for
[Chorus]
          C G C G
