Song Title: No Expectations (Keith's Part) (The Rolling Stones) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: There are quite a few versions of this where it has Keith playing an unfeasibly complicated chord shape that goes like this:
e|---12---|
b|---9----|
g|---9----|
D|---9----|
A|---10---|
E|---0----| Then, Keith supposedly changes to this shape for the A chord:

e|---12---| Unfortunately, it's not correct, I believe for two reasons: fistly,
b|---9----| it's unnecessarily complex and the very high E can be heard
g|---9----| without this chord being formed, due to a harmonic effect that is
D|---11---| produced when the chord is played as illustrated below (I also
A|---0----| can't see a rock guitarist making it hard for himself if he doesn't
E|---0----| have to, especially Keith).
The first configuration (054670) is only used for two bars in the intro and standard E is played for the rest of the song. Incidentally, that high E can still be heard faintly when the standard E chord is played. So the good news is that it is a lot easier to play than a lot of people think.
