The Oh Hellos – Rounds (Guitar)

Chords

Tyler tunes his guitar down to D Standard, so he likely recorded this with CAPO 2, but for chord chart purposes, the chart is in E Standard. I excluded some of the extra guitar parts The Oh Hellos feature in the beginning, but by and large, I tried to include what one would need to play this song in full. After the intro, the chords are rather simple, though, Tyler plays them a little more freely, so it's a little hard to pinpoint some specific parts. This should get anyone trying to play this song a good starting point though. Have fun!

      am I still speaking?

G#m6 A6
yeah, I’m long in the wind

G#m6 B E/B
I’ll go on and on and on again

E F#m
if my chest don’t cave in

A
when did I last breathe in

G#m6 A6
       am I empty again

G#m6 B E/B
oh, that wind that I’ve been spending

     E A
is a long one my friend

G#m6 A6
be the sun as my witness,

G#m6 A6
     better prophets could pen

G#m6 B E/B
a thousand words for every chord

E F#m
I could ever begin

A
may their carbon given

G#m6 A6
      be an echoing hymn

G#m6 B E/B
that goes on and on and on again

E A
so long as I live

G#m6 A6
(ooh)

G#m6 A6
(ooh)

G#m6 B E/B
       round, around, a round again

         E F#m
will you start where I end

A
am I still speaking?

G#m6 A6
yeah, I’m long in the wind

G#m6 B E/B
I’ll go on and on and on again

       E A
