Chords

I've read a lot of criticism about this song but it's one of my favorites. Anyway, I hope it's close. Starts out with cricket sounds, car door slams, car starts and drives away. Intro: This is on the keyboard but sounds the same on guitar.

F#m I took a ride in a limosine, I took a road I've never been. I met a stranger along the way, his coat was torn but his eyes were clear. F#m Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7 Bm F#m Standing in a slide zone, step-pin' in a slide zone. F#m He told me where a river flows, he showed me how the apple grows. He told me of a magic street, his face was worn but his eyes were clear. F#m Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7 Bm F#m Standing in a slide zone, I could be step-pin' in a slide zone. Standing in a slide zone, I could be step-pin' through a time zone. F#m He went to find a shooting star, around the bend that's where they are. I went along just for the ride, suddenly I began to smile. F#m Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7 Bm F#m Standing in a slide zone, I could be step-pin' through a time zone. F#m The air raced by,there was no sound, we're drifting high above the ground. And then he said "you will know this place",and then a smile lit up his face. F#m Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7 Bm F#m Standing in a slide zone, I could be step-pin' in a slide zone. F#m Bm Bm7 Bm Bm7 F#sus4 Standing in a slide zone, I could be step-pin' through a time zo-o-o-one.
