The Beatles – Ill Be Back (Bass Tab)

Written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney; released on the album "A Hard Day's Night". "I'll Be Back" was composed mainly by John. The verses have the same chord progression as Del Shannon's "Runaway", and the song itself sounds like an Everly Brothers hit, with no electric lead or rhythm guitars, and with John and Paul singing tight two-part harmonies (except for the bridges which feature only John's solo vocal). This also points forward to the melancholy of "Beatles For Sale" and the strong folk-rock feel of "Rubber Soul". The most interesting thing about "I'll Be Back" is its three-bridge structure, in which the second bridge is very different from the other two, not to mention the 2/4 bars that can be found in all three bridges. The song oscillates between A major and A minor keys, which can be noticed in the outro at best.
