Ricky played this live on an Epiphone ET-290 (1970s Matsumoko built guitar
that's in the shape of Epiphone Coronet, Crestwood, Olympic, and Wilshire models.)
The guitar had Gibson-style Humbuckers on it, and a bolt-on neck.
Strings:
.056, .044, .034, empty, .018p, .014p.
(I'm not 100% clear on this, but I base it on one of the
Tuning Notebooks.)
Guitar Pick: 1mm or 1.14mm should get close.
Guitar Amp: Not sure, but ein live photos from 1979, you can see them using a Fender Twin Reverb.
In Live Photos from 1980, you can see a Mesa Boogie Mark II.
Guitar Amp Settings: I also am not sure of these.
