Many tabs and lessons which attempt to explain this song's signature riff get hung up on the high-G (e3) in the second measure, and miss completely the following two G0's which bookend B0. Some of them even miss the E3 upbeat into the third measure. These are incorrect, and break what should be a smooth, uninterrupted alternate picking rhythm. It's a 32 note riff and, though some are easy to overlook due to their softness relative to the adjacent notes, each is clearly audible on the original recording, once one knows to listen for them.
