Avatars of Love (2022) - track 1
** I really can't decide whether this song is in
progression so I will just provide the chords in
both tunings and you can decide which one is more
comfortable to play. For what it's worth, I think
DADGAD is more comfortable generally (except for that
D/C chord, which is ugly in both tunings!)
** Also, there are no fully strummed chords because
the entire song is finger-picked with four-string
chords that are often broken (string-jumps instead
of four consecutive strings).
** The chord legend only works for the guitar parts,
as after the third verse the instrumentation shifts
and the harmonies drift further away from the beginning
(exs. Ab9 to Ab7alt [sounds like he is playing a cluster
in a whole-tone scale]; GM7 to GM9; Gm/Bb to Gm7/Bb)
