Chords

These are just the chords for the live performance they did in Central Park, i've had the song in my head all week so had to get it down somewhere before I forgot it. Pretty easy, and fun to play. The only awkward chords for me are the F# and the C# - I usually just play F#m in place of the F# and play the C like a B on fret 4. During "Mabellene"'s verses, I play the A alternating with Am though you may have to play about with it. [Intro] E [Verse]
E A
When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school

F#m B E A B
It's a wonder I can think at all

     F#m A
Oh, Maybellene, why can't you be true?

         D E A
You've started back doing those things you used to do

A
As I was motorvatin' over the hill

A
I saw Maybellene in a Coup de Ville

A
A Cadillac rollin' on the open road

A
But nothing will outrace my V8 Ford

A
The Cadillac doin' 'bout ninety-five

A
Bumper to bumper and side by side

  A C#
Maybellene, why can't you be true?

     F#m A
Oh, Maybellene, why can't you be true?

         D E A
You've started back doing those things you used to do

A
The heat cooled down, the motor cooled down

A
That's when I heard that highway sound

A
The Cadillac sittin' like a ton of lead

A
Hundred and ten half a mile ahead

A
The Cadillac lookin' like it's standin' still

A
And I caught Maybellene at the top of the hill

  A C#
Maybellene, why can't you be true?

     F#m A
Oh, Maybellene, why can't you be true?
