Randy Houser – Note To Self (Guitar Intro Tab)

This tutorial is based on several solo performances I found on youtube. !!*** Tune to drop C# ***!! C#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D# I tuned with the fender tune ios app. Bar the low 3 strings (normally E,A,D) on Frets 9, 7, and 5. Pluck or strum alternating down-up pattern focusing on the low E string and the high two strings (open B & E). ***Watch one live version of the song.*** There are a couple of podcats Randy plays and you can get a good view. Its' a simple song, you just have to feel it out. Sounds better if you mute the G string. Randy bars with his ring finger and I think it helps. This is Important when you get to the chorus and you’re strumming. The high B & E strings sound different on each recording of randy & on each of my guitars. Might not sound spot on when playing with the album track. Play around with it and enjoy!
