Edit: I haven't noticed, but it turns out @uncleDarren commented some time ago, on version 1, a very similar
way of playing the song. Well, now we have it tabbed!
Hey guys! Here is a different version of "The mute" by radical face.
Versions 1 and 2 of the tab/chords require a capo on the 6th or 7th fret. The version below does not
require, necessarily, the capo, as you can achieve the same effect tuning your guitar half a tone up. That
means, you can choose either to fit the capo on the first fret of your guitar or just tune it half a way up.
Tabbed it by ear, so pardon any possible mistakes. Overall, I thought it sounded nice and wanted to share it
with you guys.
No more jibber jabbing, here goes! Hope you like it.
C chord variation: When going from C to Am, I found that this progression really felt right and sounded
like what happens in the song (It can be used in any of te C - Am "pairs"):
C C Bm9 Bm9 Am e|------0--0--------0--0--------0------| B|------1--1--------1--1--------1------| G|------0--0--------0--0--------2------| D|------2--2--------0--0--------2------| A|--3---3--3----2---2--2----0---0------| E|-------------------------------------|
Note: I recommend you play the whole song without a pick, just strumming with your hands/nails. It makes thigs
a whole lot easier after you practice a little. I say that because of the strumming pattern of the tabbing
above. I do it hitting the A string notes with my index finger and then down and up with the strumming.
But of course, suite yourselves to play it the way you feel confortable.
