The F and G are most easily played using the thumb for the low E string. You can also use the thumb to mute the same string for C, Am, and Em7 if you tend to hit it accidentally. At the beginnings of most lines, the lyrics come in on the 2 in the strum pattern (not the 1). This is omitted from the transcription for the most part to keep things clean, but if you get down the strum pattern and listen to the recording it should make sense.
