From "Symphonion Dream" (1975) Version note: Nitty Gritty released six versions of this song, starting with the version on "Symphonion Dream." It was followed on the album by the instrumental "Sally Was A Goodun." Some later releases of "Bayou Jubilee" merged the two songs into a medley. One change from version to version was the description of the moonin the second verse. The "yellow moon" became a "Cajun moon" on "Dirt, Silver and Gold" (1976), and a "big ol' moon" on "Will The Circle Be Unbroken, Vol. 2" (1989). Take your pick. ______________________________________________________________________ [Intro]
