Chords

[Verse 1]
C G
How do your muscles stretch

D C
Not something most folks think about

C G
BUT.... if you two blown out hips and a knee

D C
You realize them muscles they don’t stretch right
[Verse 2]
C G
Hip Hip knee Horry got them all replaced

D C
Titanium joints even titanium GUITAR STRINGS

C G
How do I stretch em out get full Dynamic range

D C
Well First its best to know how it all works
[Verse 3]
C G
You got Muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue

D C
That is called the musculoskeletal system of the body

C G
Muscles attach to the tendons which attach to the bones

D C
Joints connect bones to bones with ligaments and joint capsules
[Verse 4]
C G
Muscle is composed of many strands fascicles

D C
Each fascicle of fasciculi which are microscopic bundles of muscle fibers

C G
Muscle fibers are composed of thread like myofibrils

D C
These myofibrils contract and lengthen
[Verse 5]
C G
The myofibrils are composed of glands called sarcomeres, laid end end

D C
They are overlapping thin and thick filaments of proteins

C G
Nerves send electricity the muscles in neuromuscular junctions

D C
An electrical signal stimulates the flow of calcium in the muscle causing the sarcomeres to slide
[Verse6]
C G
When the Sarcomeres shortens the muscle contorts

D C
When billions of muscles fibers shorten the entire muscle contracts

C G
Not all fibers contract only the enough to move the load

D C
When stretched some fibers stretch other remain at rest
[Verse7]
C G
Full stretch happens when the Sarcomeres when all are stretched

D C
Now the brain/neural component The muscle spindle records the stretch.

C G
It tries to contact to stop it Then the GTO (golgi tendon organ)

D C
makes the brain send a stretch signal when too much muscle tension
[Outro]
C G
A double fail safe system, Now Did you get all that

D C
Remember this is just the basic Physiology

C G
Do you really think this is all just a lucky accident

D C G
Or we might be designed
