G C D G My hand on her back G D C G Immediately as I prayed she undulated G C D Lot like softball under the skin moving about G C G I kept my eyes closed, I did not want to see.

G C D G When I was done she thanked me as usual; G D C G But said next time don’t press so hard G C D I was only lightly touching G C G Took a year but things eventually got better.

G C D G Isolated was she and suddenly full of back pain G D C G Part of a lung removed G C D In ICU for 6 days then Eden Rehab G C G Listening to me and my guitar learning to sing

G C D G She loved I saw the light G D C G On June 27 she saw it for real G C D While singing and playing I pulled the plug G C G Now I take her to the coast for the last time G C G Her ashes now on the beach but her spirit with Em C D G Jesus in Heaven.
