Chords

This version of London Bridge is the one I learned from my nanna. I played around with the chords to find a sound that suits the way I sing it. I'm not sure if Fm7 is the right name for the second chord, but it looks like both F and C played together (I use my fourth finger to play a C on the a string) eg: _______ (first fret capo'd) 0 0 1 0 (second fret, first finger E string) 2 0 0 0 (third fret, second finger G string) 0 0 0 4 (fourth fret, fourth or third finger A string) [Capo] First fret [Strum] d.d.D.du (emphasis on the 3rd beat, ie, "bridge", "down", "La-"dy) [Chords]

If you're a child-care worker, hosting a party for a young audience or just kiddy sitting a bunch of ankle biters you can play this to the game. Have the kids stand in a circle and choose two to face each other and form an arch with their arms. Everyone else walks around in a circle passing under the "arch" whilst singing. On "My Fair Lady" the "arch" collapses and catches someone. They can start a new arch to collapse on someone the next verse. Repeat until you're out of survivors or there's one left. You can also simplify/change some verses to choruses to suit your number of kids or delete parts parents might not like (who smokes pipes these days anyway?) Thank you for checking out my tab. Feel free to hit me up with suggestions for improvement (like if you know what that dang chord is called). I put a heck of a lot of time into this because I'm self-taught and found detailed tabs the easiest to learn from. Hope it helps!
