Chords

First of all, thank you for taking a look at my tab of Bent by Matchbox Twenty and I hope you enjoy playing along with it. It is based off of Rob Thomas' acoustic performance at Red Rocks during his solo tour, hence the intro and bridge sound much different to the actual CD version! I've recently made a few changes, making some of the chords more precise to how I play it. gth971x is correct, the G D/F# Em(7) progression goes G F# E down the low E-string (in addition, I like to play the top E- and B-string 03 33 03 or 03 33 30 during that progression, so that one string remains unchanged while the other changes). Also, I prefer to play the Cs during the chorus as Cmaj7 (x32000). One final point: if you want to play it like Rob Thomas on an acoustic, listen to the Red Rocks performance to get a handle on strumming and rhythm, especially for the 'Em's in the verses, as half of the time it includes pauses and hammer-ons.
