Check the tuning with the fourth string. -Then tune your fifth string down a tone to G. Check the tuning with the third (G) string. -Lastly, tune your first string down a tone to D. Check the tuning with the fourth (D) string. -Put capo on 5th fret. Don't ask me how I figured out this song was in open G tuning, but it just kind of came me. I figured out how to play the intro in standard tuning, but it just didn't sound and once you get to the pre-chorus and chorus it needs to be in open G with a capo on fret. I watched some videos of this song being played live to make sure I was on the path. Pre-Chorus "And through the summer...." *This part is played picking each chord up and down, or you can strum it, I think there a mandolin that plays it too.

Chorus "Anybody, anybody else would be gone long gone" *Again this part is played with a manolin picking. This is just the guitar part but if playing it by yourself you can easily here the mandolin part and figure it out.
