Double Drop D tuning – tune both E strings down to D
(I was not a music major and have probably mislabeled some of the chords. I chose
the labels for ease. Also I'm not sure that he tunes the high “e” string down to
“d” but I like the way it sounds acoustically so that’s what I did.)
On the Dsus he actually uses his pinky to play it 054050. The last two notes are both E, so he doesn't
tune down the e string. Mostly that means you don't strum the last e string in several chords.
I think it's easier this way, and I like the way it sounds as I have written it - but that's not
"gospel"! Play it however you want and enjoy playing it. I only hope this helps get you started so
you can add your variations as you like!)
