--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Written by: Tony Banks, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Anthony Phillips & Mike Rutherford From: "Nursery Cryme" (1971) Tabbed by: jamesrmurray1 Tuning: Standard The original recording has three guitar parts. Pro-tabs are already availabe for each part but this chart will work for one guitar. The chord changes, particularly during the finale, are quite difficult and if you are struggling you can simplify it by playing power chords instead. The tempo is 79 BPM. The song alternates between strums and picking arpeggios. The Arpeggios are always 16th notes but the strumming pattern varies. The intro and verse are tabbed to give you an idea but feel free to experiment with using different arpeggios for different voicings. The tempo is 79 BMP. For a version with simpler chords scroll to the bottom. That version cuts out a lot of the complex chord changes (particularly in the finale) and is easier to sing and play at the same time. You will need a capo on fret 2 to play it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Intro]
