Lay your fingers very gently against the numbered fret, and strum, quickly removing your hand
from the strings to let the note ring.

[Solo] (Distortion Filter) It looks like they are using a filter, rather than a wah pedal. I’m sure a wah pedal could be used in place of the filter.
