Chords

I've tabbed this to the original studio recording, for structure and completeness: However, I've raised the pitch by a semi-tone, to take it from the key of B to C, as it's played in this clip:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x7Csbr-Owo This is easier to play. If you want to play along to the studio version, tune all strings down a semi-tome (ie Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb). I suspect that's what the band has done anyway for the studio recording. Although I've made a chord chart of this, it's not hard to finger pick. For the guitar run in the intro and instrumentals it just involves dropping and hammering on the first finger of the C chord at the spots that switch between the C and Cmaj7. Have fun! [Intro] C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C G C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C G G [Verse]
                C G
When you were a child on the farm

            F G
You saw him pin her by the weight of his arms

                   C G
So she left in the night when you were in bed

    F G
And took your trust when she left
[Chorus]
C G F
You're already hurt

       C G F
I'm so scared that if you put your trust in me I'll make it worse

F G
        I'll hurt you
[Instrumental] C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C G C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C C Cmaj7 C G G [Verse]
           C G
I picked a flower from the stem

    F G
And watched it die in my hands

                      C G
And I screamed "Oh my God, I did it again

        F G
I'm destroying innocence"
[Chorus]
   C G F
So I can't stay

       C G
And my heart's too weak to think

          F
About the way you used to say

F G
        "I miss you"
