A few notes to go with this tab.
1. My goal was to make a version of this song that is capo free like how Ed Sheeran plays the song.
2. If you play this song in standard tuning (E) you will notice that it does NOT sound like the album, this
is becuase the album is a half step down from standard tuning (Eb). With that said, if you turn the guitar
down a half step, you will be able to play with Ed on the album.
3. I wrote out rough strumming patters to get the feel that Ed gives. The patters are in 3/4. Also note that
I couldn't write longer than 16 beats so I had to split up the Chorus pattern.
4. The pattern labeled "Main Pattern" is split into two parts, the first part is played throughout the song.
The second part is only used when changing from Gadd11 to C/E. The last two strums of the pattern is the
change from Gadd11 to C/E, so "1 2&3&4 5" is Gadd11 and then the "& - &" for 5-6 are C/E, really quick.
