They do a few things to fill out the chords, including more picking than strumming, and hammering on one of
the strings at the beginning of each chord transition.
For the A it sounds like they start by strumming an A once without the B string, then hammering on the B
string. Then strum a few times, then hammer on a pinkie to the 3rd fret of the B string (to make it Asus),
strum a few times, in the next note go back to hammering on the B to make an A. Repeat. For the D its the s
ame but you hammer on the the E string initially, then hammer on a pinkie to make it Dsus. I don't know how
to designate all of this, so just know that you hammer on every time you transition to A, Asus, D, and
Dsus.
