This song is pretty loaded with synths and special effects. I've tried to tab it out as
best I could, but
I'm not really sure how to recreate all the effects Stu G uses. You'll want to listen
to the track to get a
sense of the timing, since it is a bit strange. There seems to be two guitars playing
at parts of the song.
Intro e|-----------12-------------------12------------------12------------------12---| B|--------------12-------------------12------------------12------------------12| G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|---2---2----------------2---2----------------2--2----------------2--2--------| e|---------x-x-x-9 --------------------| B|---------x-x-x-12b14br12--9b10br9----| G|-------------------------------------| x8 D|-------------------------------------| A|-------------------------------------| E|---2--2------------------------------|
No guitar in first half of verse one. Then, this riff is played:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| G|---------2-----------------------------------------------------------------| D|-------4-------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----5---------------------------------------------------------------------| E|---3-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
From then on, the guitar plays a downstrum on each chord in the verse. The second
guitar plays the first and
last chord played by the first guitar with a vibrato effect. The chords are: F#m-A-D-G-F#m-E-A.
Chorus e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| G|---------11--11---------x-x-9-9---------7-7--x--x---------4-4--x-x---------| D|----------x---x---------x-x-x-x---------x-x--x--x---------x-x--x-x---------| x2 A|--------- 9-- 9---------x-x-7-7---------5-5--x--x---------2-2--x-x---------| E|---2--2-----------2--2------------2--2--------------2--2-------------------|
The second verse is similar to the first, but the guitar plays downstrums through the
whole verse, with this
progression: F#m-A-D-G-F#m-A-D-G-F#-A-D-G (riff here)-F#m-A-No chord
Then repeat the chorus
No Guitar in Bridge
Solo (post bridge): e|---------------------| B|---------------------| G|---------x-x--9-9----| D|---------x-x--x-x----| x4 A|---------x-x--7-7----| E|---2--2--------------|
The chorus then repeats twice. I believe that the second guitar plays the second half
of the intro riff
over the chorus twice on the ending choruses.
