It is played normally the second time -Listen to the song to get what I mean as well as the general rhythm

[Verse riff] -For 2nd last open note on the G string, keep your finger on the 2nd fret of the G string from the last note of the G string, and play the open note as a pull-off for the G and Am chords, and also play the first note of the 2nd fret of the G string as a hammer-on (Same as the intro/chorus but only for the G and Am chords) -It's quite confusing but listen closely for the ryhthm - Can be difficult to hear over the singer and banjo)
