The song is played in G, but in the video clip above
Dan's guitar is tuned down a full tone to D-G-C-F-A-d
and he has a capo at the 2nd fret to bring it back up
to standard pitch. This is a common practise for
12 string guitar players, as it takes some of the
strain off of the guitar neck.
If you're on a 6 string just play it in G,
as there is no capo or detuning necessary.
