[Verse 1] Strumming pattern develops into a light ring/middle finger strum after chorus. If you decide to pluck or strum its up to you. If you pluck don't include 3rd string (Tip) Use thumb to fret 5th fret on the 6th string Note: In recording she doesn't use 6th string (0) in the bass when she goes back to the resolution on 4th chord in the progression. Though it sounds better live if you play it that way. Hope that wasn't too confusing!

in between this (Repeat same sequence for rest of chorus too long to tab)
After Chorus Strumming Starts: The best way to explain how to do this is to keep a steady rhythm and emphasize slapping your hand on the strings on the downstrum. Your fingers should be in a slightly curled fingerpicking position and your nails should be making contact hence making the slapping noise Practice slowly like always (Bonus if you use a metronome) (Tip) Having nails helps a lot to achieve a lot of Adrianne's fingerpicking sounds.
