Rhythm information (important):
Each dash in the tab corresponds to half a beat.
The tab is divided into sections which each have different time signature i.e. beats per bar.
Intro: 7 beats per bar
Verses: 8 beats per bar
Fills: 7 beats per bar
Chorus: 7 beats per bar
Hook: 6 beats per bar ("I've got you and you've got me")
Note that in the recording there is a 2 beat pause between the end of the verse and the start of the chorus
and a 4 beat pause between the end of the first hook and the start of the second verse, both of which I
included as empty dashes in the tab.
I recommend counting the beats throughout the entire song before you learn the guitar part.
Chorus chord shape for left hand: first finger frets bass note on bottom string, ring finger frets 7 (or 6 if
you use the small hand adaptation) on 5th string, and pinky finger moves between 7 on top 2 strings.
For the "Zoom zoom zoom" part, fret the bottom string with the thumb.
Small hand adaptation: I have small hands and the chorus chord shape really hurts my wrist after a while on my
high action acoustic. Because of this I tune the 5th string (A) up half a step to A# meaning all the notes on
this string are played 1 fret down. This affects the chorus and the verse and intro slightly. The tab is NOT
written with this tuning because Adrianne uses standard, but it is easy to change if you want (you can use
edit and then make personal edits).
